St. Marys Old Age Home

A home for senior citizens who lack family support – offering food, shelter, love and a peaceful spiritual atmosphere.

Established: 1998

Under the management of M.G.M Charitable Trust

About St. Marys Old Age Home

St. Marys Old Age Home was started by the Trust as a response to the growing number of senior citizens who were lonely, neglected or abandoned. Many residents arrived after losing family support or being left without anyone to care for them.

The Home provides a safe and loving environment where elders receive nutritious food, a clean place to stay, basic health care and emotional support. Daily routines include prayer, simple activities and opportunities for social interaction, helping residents experience community rather than isolation.

Our Aim

  • To provide food, shelter and preliminary health-care facilities to aged and neglected people.
  • To nurture a spiritual atmosphere that helps residents to find peace and hope in their later years.
  • To ensure that no elder feels unwanted, unloved or alone.

Life at the Home

Residents are supported by caregivers, nursing staff and volunteers who help with daily needs such as hygiene, medication, mobility and companionship. Festivals, birthdays and special days are celebrated together, often with the participation of local groups, parishes and well-wishers.

Individuals and institutions are welcome to sponsor meals, medicines, clothing or special programmes at the Home, with prior coordination through the office of M.G.M Charitable Trust.
